I would like to setup my arrangement in my host, but define the rhythms in JamStix. Is there a way you can send a midi signal that will cause JamStix to switch to one of the 16 different rhythms defined in JamStix? This is the missing link for me as JamStix provides a way to signal Beginning/Break/End. It appears Live Loops could work for this, but I do want the capabiltiy to export the entire arrangement to a MIDI file once I am happy with the arrangement. I don't believe this is possible using Live Loops.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

The upcoming Jamstix 1.7 introduces a new jam mode, called 'Keyboard Jam', that will let you do what you want.
You can try the latest Beta right now if you want:

This Beta has an updated manual that covers this new mode.
Let me know if you need any help on this feature. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thank you for the Keyboard Jam mode! I can now sequence the arrangement in FL Studio, which allows for much better visibility of the drum in the overall arrangement , not to mention I am use to working the this sequencer so setup is a breeze. Fills, accents, etc. are remembered in JamStix by location in the song, and can be changed in the Rhythm tab without effecting other parts of the song. In addition, I can send the midi out, loop it back in via Midi-OX to a different Channel in FL Studio, and record the midi file for final tweeking if necessary.
Just the best, thank you again. |

| One request, is it possible to get Intro and Ending as assignable Style Controls? It is always something. |
