1. in the rhythm tab i have the hihat 16ths box checked with the velocity all the way up bit i still only get eighths.
2. changing the name of a rhythm, whether in rhythm tab or arrangement is difficult and most of the time impossible. i type delete or backspace and nothing happens. typing letters doesn't do anything either. i just can't figure it out. |

Jamstix is rule-based so it may not be allowed to play those 16th. If you save your Jamstix with this rhythm to a FXB file (Save Bank in the host) and send it to support[at]rayzoon.com referencing this thread, I'll take a look at it and advise you on what exactly is happening.

The only place to edit rhythm names is in the rhythm tab. Click on the name to edit it. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

ok. it's just that when i right click on a rhythm name in the arr tab the popup menu shows "rename rhythm" so i thought you could do it there too. |

I forgot about that. Yes, that should work just fine. Are you saying the dialog box that opens with the name cannot be edited by you? If so, what host are you using? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

When editing rhythm names in jamstix and energyXT, please do this to work-around the typing issues:
When the dialog comes up the current name is highlighted. Left-click with the mouse anywhere into the title to remove the highlighting. Now you can type letters, use backspace etc. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
