Hi,

I'm not sure if this works already in Keyboard Jam, but it would be nice if the behaviour is still AUDIO velocity sensitive.

I have the Behringer FCB1010 midi foot controller and being able to switch during a jam between rhythms with your foot is a great feature. Now I could also use the floor pedal to increase the velocity, but this can distract from the actual play and Jamstix has already the requested feature in the other Jam Modi. So why not also have the option here or is it there and am I being misleaded by the 'non responsiveness of the audio velocity slider'? If so, ignore the post Wink

In essence I think you create something a bit like Live Loops, but quicker and easier to use, and maybe even more useful for a jam part.

The problem with Live Loops is that nobody is watching the arrangement window when you are playing. So when you go into a jam part, you could loose track of where you are, e.g. how many bars till the end of the loop. So when you click with your controller for a new loop, it could be that it still needs to end a few bars in the previous loop. That can be annoying. You usually know when you want to go to the next loop, e.g. by the end of the bar during which you have clicked with your foot controller. An option was to use Live Loops of 1 bar long, but I thought I got into trouble with that. If I remember it correctly I loose automatic fills.

Just an idea, Lucky

I may misunderstand you but the reason input is not effecting velocity in Keyboard Jam mode is that that mode is mainly for 'manual drummers' which control velocity themselves using the mod wheel.

Yes, you loose the fills with 1-bar liveloops.

We are making things a lot easier in Jamstix 2 in this regard.
