|

Hi,
What's the quickest way to duplicate a rhythm ?
I find save + load a little overkill.
Is there something like the move function, but for copy ?
I really like keyboard jam, but it could be neat if some of the triggers were linear (using velocity) instead of a simple toggle (ex: Snare Ghost).
Thanks,

Go to an empty or unused rhythm slot and click 'PASTE'. Now select the rhythm you want to copy and that's it.

Some triggers are velocity-sensitive. We'll see if we can still get the snare ghost into the next 1.7 beta. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

hmm, thanks,

Crescendo snare ghost across a few bars would be terrific
BTW, I'm using a midi plug (mfxscript) to control JS Keyboard Jam mode and to change JS parameters from the midi plug (using SX3).
The problem is that JS is in my "playback" host with a huge audio buffer which makes parameter changes not very smooth.
Will JS2 allow CCs also ?
Thanks,

Yes, JS2 will allow more control via CC. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I've looked into the snare ghost velocity-sensitivity but it's a no-go at this time. The problem is that many users won't know about it and will wonder why their snare ghosts are so 'unghostly' loud or too quiet. Many will have a problem in live operations where they just can't always hit that key so carefully to get the proper velocity on the ghosts. So we'll have to put this on the backburner for now. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Agree, actually I though about that, but don't we have a spare key for a Dynamic Snare Ghost or a Snare Ghost Velocity ?
Just asking |

That's an idea but we won't rush that into 1.7 at this time. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Not problem, just noticed I can do that using parameters, and even with my 90 msec buffer, a full ramp over 2-3 bars works nice.
Sorry for the trouble and thanks again.
