| I noticed that when I check the 16th before or 16th after, it actually doesn't land the midi note on the 16th in the midi editor. I also created some midi drum patterns, and tried to match them up in Jamstix to what they should be and they were off. Are the 16th's different in Jamstix than what it would look like on a midi editor? |

They should only be off when '16th Shuffle' is checked. Could you send me an FXB (Save Bank) of Jamstix at that point and also a MID file of the data as you see it? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Nevermind, I misunderstood what how the 16th notes were placed. I thought they were the 16th notes were placed before the 8th and after the 8th, not before the quarter and after the quarter note.
The only problem with placing them as before and after the quarter note is that before note 1 would actually not show up until the patern repeats since it is the 16th before the 1st quarter note. Alse the 16th after number 4 on the pattern bar wouldn't show up on the last pattern...
There are some patterns just don't seem to work well unless programmed for me... Man, I need those tripplets... big time... I did a tune and had to program the bass drum myself and just had the snare and cymbals running through jamstix... |

We will expand triplet support to sounds other than hihats in Jamstix 2.
I assume your song is not a shuffle, right? Because in a shuffle, Jamstix will automatically move sounds to fit the triplet grid. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Right... It's not a shuffle. Only certain parts of the song use triplets. |

| if your non-triplet song parts are locked in the arranger you can make changes in the rhythm to get shuffle on the unlocked measures without affecting the locked ones, correct? |
