i imported a midi file 5 bars long which gets progressively more complex with each bar. jamstix splits those bars into 5 separate patterns, correct?

well, the 1st bar is just steady 16ths on hi hat but when i choose that bar in the arranger jamstix plays 8ths instead of 16ths. the 2nd bar also has steady 16ths on hi hat (and the bass drum) but js still plays 8ths instead of 16ths on the hi hat. why?

The IMPORT in Jamstix is just an approximation because it must translate MIDI notes into rules. Please send me your MID file to support[at]rayzoon.com so I can check this out further.

save for the 16ths, the patterns sound fine.

Got the file, I'll take a look at that tomorrow.

Yes, I sent you a mail, not sure if you got it. Jamstix 1.7 Beta 2, which is now available, has a fix for your problem. Let me know if it still doesn't work.
