Hi,

I am using Kontakt as an external VSTi for JamStix. Kontakt is loaded with nskit7 which supports CC04 data. I'm drawing an automation envelope in my host (Cubase SX) but this data does not appear to be getting to Kontakt.

If I create a standard MIDI track in SX, program some hihat parts, and then output directly to Kontakt and not via JS, then the CC04 data works correctly

Am I missing something? I've seen a couple of other threads that indicate that what I'm trying to do should work?

ta,

Automation envelopes are NOT passed thru by Jamstix but CC04 (MIDI Controller) is so it should work.

What version of Jamstix are you using (see ABOUT tab)?

Also, you could load Kontakt/NS7 directly into the SX rack and then add a MIDI track with input=Jamstix output=Kontakt so Jamstix drives it but it's loaded outside of JS.
