| I am getting to grips with Jamstix, and i'm finding it difficult to understand the relationship between the arrangement and the three Jam modes. During Free Jam I unchecked the 'Use arrangment' option, but the Jam still appreared to follow the Arrangment. Sometimes the Free Jam appears to be writing to (overwriting) the arrangement, and sometimes the Free Jam appears to reading from the arrangement, help, I don't understand! |

Free jam means Jamstix has control over the arranger, period. Unchecking 'Use Arrangement' won't change that.
When you get to a point where you need to manually fine-tune/change a jam, switch to 'Manual Jam'. Now you can use the arranger to change things as needed.
I know this can all be a bit confusing and we will streamline things in Jamstix 2 significantly. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
