Something that occurred to me whilst browsing the pattern library looking for inspiration.
I had already programmed a very simple pattern in the sequencer for a particular section of my song.
By using the keyword search in the load pattern dialog, I was able to find quite a few new patterns for inspiration.
However, what would be really cool is to for example, edit the bass pattern in the jamstix rhythm and then click a button, and jamstix would offer up a list of rhytms that match that pattern, with those that closely match nearer the top.
This would be great if you have a certain part of the rhythm in mind |

We noticed the same thing and it's easier done in Jamstix than in static-loop libraries since everything is rule-based. As a result, we are planning advanced search features in Jamstix 2, including pattern match, pattern morphing and some other stuff.
