I recorded a song at 136 that is really probably at 78. So I set jamstix for half time, and all is well except the fills. They all seem like they're still going at 136. Is there a way to make the fills respond in half time? Please say yes.
Thanks,
Mike |

I'd love to say 'Yes' but I can't
You can get around this by manipulating the tempo multiplier of Jamstix.
Open the jamstix.ini file in the Jamstix folder with notepad and add this line to the [General] section:
TempoMultiplier=0.5
This will make Jamstix play half as fast. If you do this you will have incorrect bar numbers (halved) but that may not be much of a hindrance.
Of course you don't want to use half-time anymore with this fix.
Note that this switch affects all Jamstix performances so you'll want to set it to 1 (or remove the line) when the song is mixed down and finished. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Well, a workaround is the next best thing to a feature. Thanks!
Maybe some day it'll be a feature. |
