With Sonar 5.2 you can record the MIDI output directly to a Sonar track. With older versions you need to either use DirectiXer or use the 'Export MIDI File' function in the arranger. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hi. I just updated Sonar to 5.2, but I'm not sure of the correct procedure to record to a midi track. I seem to be able to add Jamstix as an output only in the midi track, but I don't really know what to do next (jamstix is in an audio track of the same song...I tried, perhaps foolishly, to arm and record the midi track while playing the jamstix track, but no avail. Thanks. _________________ I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate.

Add a new MIDI track, set its input to Jamstix, arm and record. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
