Just to add to the burden (!) is there any way the ability to load programs and banks for external VSTi could be implemented in Jamstix? Tobybears MiniHost has this (and perhaps he wouldn't mind sharing the code...???) This would be a life saver for me as I have to load samples individually into the Steinberg LM4 MkII and have no way to save settings.
Thanks,
Andrew |

Hi Andrew,
you can use the LOAD and SAVE buttons in the mappings tab for that. When you save a mapping in external mode, Jamstix stores not only its internal data but also the data of the external VSTi.
Hope this helps! _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Thanks for the quick response Ralph, I will give this a whirl. However, it would still be great if we could load .fxp/.fxb programs/banks. I have generally been using the MiXtended drum kits with the LM4, which have 12 velocity settings per drum (ie. 12 samples), with 5 kits (all in close miked, overhead miked and room miked forms for a total of 15 kits in effect). Loading a kit into the LM4 manually is possible, but a pain and time consuming, hence... |
