I am experiencing a strange problem...at least I think it is a problem... If I put a fill (that has CrashFinish=1) in before a locked bar the crash on the one seems to play on the one of the next unlocked bar. (could be three bars away). Not sure if that is enough of an explanation, but any advice would be appreciated.

Here is my setup

jamstix 1.6
Sonar 4.04

using arranger in manual mode.

FYI, I am able to correct the problem by setting CrashFinish=0 in the .raf file, but I am pretty sure I had done this before and it would just ignore the crash on one if the next bar was locked.

Confirmed. This will be fixed in the next beta.
Thanks for the catch!

This has actually been around as long as we have bar locking. What happens is that the fills plays and sets the CrashFinish flag so that the next bar will play a crash on the one. Since the following bar is locked, only the recorded data gets played back and the CrashFinish flag never gets reset. So only the next unlocked bar sees the flag, plays the crash and then clears the flag.

Now I know why it never happened before...I would set rhythms, let the whole arrangement play through, then lock it (the whole arrangement),then go back to the arranger and add fills. Hence there would be no unlocked bars for the One Hit to play on.

But, instead of fixing the crash on one for the next unlocked bar, maybe a "dont play crash on one" option could be added for fills and intro's. Just a thought...

Or maybe you are?

There is no such thing as Jamstix and the Internet has not been invented yet.
