Ralph
You will be aware that one of the features that I'm 'hanging out' for is the ability to apply snare accents to patterns in the same manner that we can apply a fill or an intro in the arrange window.
I thought of an easy solution or compromise.
I realize it is dead easy to just double click the 'lug' in the arrange window and add the accent from the rythym window...
BUT... could the lug turn white or light blue? or some colour (other than red or pink) so we can easily see which bar/bars have got an accent on them?
(The next step from that would be: right click the white lug to change accents... but I suppose that would make that the 'deluxe' version of what I'm asking for anyway!)

We'll get there in the next beta cycle after the 1.6 release. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I've only just started to appreciate the whole 'accents' capabilities of JS (thanks to a couple of recent threads) a have started playing around with them. The filters are a great addition, and being able to control them through the Arranger would be even better! Maybe add them in a similar way to Intros / Fills / Endings?
I'm still struggling with one thing in the existing set up. I've been experimenting with automation envelopes for velocity / powerplay, but when JS hits then change it seems to go Accent Crazy for a while, even when 'No snare accents' is selected for that particular bar. Does the automation by-pass the filters or something? |

What automation parameter does this for you? If it says 'No Snare Accent' in the rhythm tab then there will be no snare accent played. We may need to identify what you are hearing exactly. A brief MP3 and the corresponding 'Save Bank' FXB file and the bar number would help us look into this. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

No, I don't think we received it. Also, please reference this topic in the mail so we can correlate easily. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
