hi ralph,
the following leads to a crash in the .99Q beta:

In the Mapping Panel, select "External VSTi", cancel the "Select the VST DLL" dialog, then select "Configure". Crash.

Somewhat unlikely scenario, i know, but ...

also, you probably already have this covered, but the manual from the download is out of date with respect to the GUI, eg. several items documented as being on the Free Jam panel are actually found on the Rhythms panel, etc.
also there are references in the Table of Contents to "Creating drum tracks from scratch in SONAR", but no such section exists in the Advanced Techniques chapter.
