I have just upgraded to 1.6 and I am now having some issues in cubase sx 1.01. I have been running it fine in this version with no problems until now. I usually just output cubase through my guitarport so I can mix signals and I have had no problems for quite a while. I switched the output to the m-audio delta audiophile and am experiencing the same issues. I have also tried multiple ASIO drivers including the guitarport, directsound, and the asio4all v.2. I am getting digital distortion and lockups. Sometimes jamstix sounds like it is being rewound over and over again. I am running xp sp2 on a 2.8 ghz computer with 512 mb of ram. Any ideas are more than welcome.
Thanks,
Jay Durnil |

I wanted to mention that I uninstalled 1.6 and reinstalled 1.5 and the issues with distortion and lockups have disappeared. I would however like to be able to run 1.6.
Thanks,

That is odd. Please do this:
- save a copy of your current jamstix.dll (V1.5)
- download and run the 1.61 updater
http://www.rayzoon.com/jamstix_update.html
- reboot machine
- see if your problems are back
You can now switch between 1.5 and 1.61 easily by just switching out the jamstix.dll file.
If you still experience issues, please send me rzdlog.txt and jamstix.ini from the Jamstix folder to support[at]rayzoon.com referencing the title of this thread. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
