| What exactly does the timing variance slider do specifically? I know it makes the timing of the grooves less precise but it seems to me as the slider moves to the right that drum beats actually stop. For example I have noticed that the kick drum on beat one will actually not play( even it it suppose in the rhythm tab) when the timing variance slider is moved to the right. It seems to not only make the kick not fall on the bat but it seems to actually just not play at all. Is this what is suppose to happen. I have not noticed it in previous versions. Using beta x9-5 here in cubase. |

The slider introduces random delays in the sounds played. It shouldn't lead to dropped notes unless the variance is extreme. Can you send us a FXB (Save Bank) of this situation and tell us at what bar the kick is missing for you? _________________ Ralph Zeuner
