It appears that JS loads all of the internal sample data when starting the plugin. However, since I use DFHS, the sample data for it must then be loaded as well (since I do everything in DFHS pre-loaded now days). Is there a way to disable the loading of JS internal samples?
This would be especially useful for saved sessions where for instance, I have JS loaded into Fruity and DFHS loaded into JS. Opening a saved FL session that has this setup takes a fairly long time to initialize since it has to load both the JS and then the DFHS samples. |

Maybe this is a FL thing because in Sonar, once I save a song with an external VSTi, next time I load it Jamstix does not load the internal sounds.
You can try this: load Jamstix with its default internal sounds then go to the mapping tab and select 'No Sound' in the sample selection box for every sound. When you're done, save the mapping as 'default.rdm' in the mappings folder (keep a copy of the old one). This will accelerate the startup because Jamstix won't load the internal samples anymore. When you do need the internals, just load the Jamstix kit mapping.
Hope this helps! _________________ Ralph Zeuner
