|
|
I'm working on a project where I want some half-time sections in the middle of a 'full-time'' piece.
Ideally I'd like build up the general shape in Free Jam before swapping to Manual, jamming with a recorded Audio track. I thought I would be able to switch the Half-time flag using MIDI automation, but it doesn't seem to be one of the available parameters.
Any ideas for how to force this , or do I have to live without it until I switch over to Manual? |

If you want real halftime (snare on the 3) then you'll have to do it manually after the free jam. However, if a snare-on-4-only will suffice then use the 'Reduction' automation parameter and lift it to step 1 ('Halftime') during the halftime section. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks Ralph - will give it a try.
Any likelihood that 'half-time' will join the midi-paramters list in the future? |

We'll see what we can do this involves a hidden recomposition, which isn't nice as it isn't reflected in the GUI. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
