It looks like the new Sonar 5.2 update will support using the MIDI out of Jamstix to drive another drum sampler:

This is really the main reason for needing DirectXier when using Jamstix in Sonar, isn't it? I was planning on buying it soon, but maybe now I won't need to.

Yep, Cakewalk is finally addressing the issue! And so many said they never would...

This will eliminate the need for DirectiXer and make it merely an alternative for those who just don't like the CW VST wrapper.

I just bought Sonar recently and I'm still getting familiar with it. I knew I was probably going to have to pick up DirectXier at some point, but with this news it sounds like I won't really need to. Cool
