When I load JS into Cubase SX, the sounds appear to load, but no sounds play. I always have to load a mapping to the add on pacs I bought. Where are the original sounds I had in the demo?

Did you actually install the sounds or only the jamstix application when you received your license key? Can you check this?
Can you also check your Jamstix folder?. There´s a subfolder in it called SAMPLES. Depending on the Add-On Paks you bought there should be LOTS of .rzd samples (3163 files when you have all the paks) in it beginning with chimes and ending with tom.

Doc is right. Sounds as if you didn't install the default sounds. If you cannot see 'Chimes...' sound files in your 'samples' folder then please run the jamstix_data_setup.exe (211MB) from your Jamstix delivery mail and point it to the folder that contains your 'Jamstix' folder.
