I have a pattern where I am hearing a snare on tom 3 hits. I am just using the default kit at this point, and I don't know a whole lot about mapping, but I checked my mapping tab, and (sound) Tom 3 is assigned to (sample) Tom - 14" Stage Custom. That looks right doesn't it? What could be causing this?

Is this free jam or manual jam?

There's a free jam control that can send snare notes to toms randomly (Snarer/Tom3 slider).

Make sure Jamstix shows version 1.5 in the ABOUT tab.

Earlier versions had a bug where the snare/tom slider in free jam would also affect manual jam.

I just want to say for the record:

I sent Ralph the FXB. His response was. . . "Bar 6 was locked with toms playing (not sure if programmed or from an accent). I can also recognize a snare accent in there. Once you lock a bar, there's no telling how it was created in the first place."

I looked at the bar and found that the was indeed a snare accent there that I didn't know enough to look for - it was cancelling my toms. Problem solved.

We see a lot of solutions in this forum. I just want to acknowledge that, even though the communication on this one moved outside the forum, the solution was found on this one too.

Thanks Ralph!
