Hi,
I'm new in this community and bought on wednesday the full version.
It's really amazing !!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
Now playing around with jamstix I like very much the audio live playing and jamstix joining in.
Now my question: When I play over my bass or guitar amp and the signal is routed too in jamstix, jamstix can play along. O.k. so far, but I would like to amplify the output of jamstix with a small PA.
But then I do not need the sound aof the bass or guitar through the PA but just the drums. Is that possible ???
That would be a great feature to play in a small combo without a drummer and you could just route the PA out in jamstix ( without the drumsignal) and then again in the PA for tamplify the drums.

Thanks

Hi Mr. Hide and welcome to the board!

Not sure if I fully understand your question. This is what I think you should do, correct me if I'm off:

Route 'Pre-Amp Out' from your guitar or bass amp to audio-in of the computer. Have audioM8 in the audio track and mute the track so audioM8 picks up the velocity data but your instrument is not heard in the computer. Route computer audio-out with Jamstix signal to the proper PA input.

Hope this helps!

The audioM8 should work fine in Tracktion. There are other threads in the forum that deal with this.

Let me know if you can't get it to work.

Thanks for the tip.M8 picking up velocity data with audio data on mute is a great function for those messing with the hard/soft ware interface.
