Hi -
I've just purchased the combo of 2 drum packs, snare, brush pak. I've been out of sorts for a while, and see I need to upgrade to 1.5 from 1.2. My internet computer (this one!) is different from my music computer.
I can't get past the windows-looking dialogue that pops up when I click on the "click here to upgrade if necessary" link in step 1 of the brush pak download. It doesn't take the username and password I used to log on to this forum.
Can anyone help me get past this window to upgrade please?
I'm planning on putting my upgrades onto CDs, and walking them over to my music computer. If anyone sees any problems ahead with this approach, please give me a heads up.
Thanks - Alexis _________________ Alexis

(I'm not official support, but I believe I can help you out)
The password you need to use is the one that was sent to you in your email (for the update versions I believe it's the password you got in your email when you purchased Jamstix), not your forum username/password.
I don't think you should have any problem putting the upgrades onto CDs and transferring them to your other computer. |

No - this works fine (I have to do this for the same reason). _________________ Graeme

Hi gregjazz and fingers - Thanks much, just as you suggested, I was able to use my username/password from last year to download the 1.5 executable file, and bring it over on a CD to my music computer - thanks!
I'm having problems getting the "about" version to change from 1.2, despite apparent succesful upgrade to 1.5 (I'm assuming this since I don't think the install of Drumpak 1 and 2, and Snarepak and Brushpak, would have been possible otherwise).
I'm working through this last issue now ... can't wait to starm jamming with 1.5!
Thanks
P.S. later ... all seems golden now, thanks everybody (including Zauni, who never seems to sleep even a year or more after his product hit the streets!). _________________ Alexis
