I bought Jamstix and I love it.

The way I have used it so far is to create a basic rhythm in manual view for say the verse and the chorus and then let Jamstix alter them in the song using envelopes in the sequencer to control velocity, fills, accents, etc.
I then let it play through and do a bounce to track. I would like to have separate tracks for each drum piece, but I have not tried that yet (not sure how to, but I'll figure it out, I hope, I know it is possible cause I was told so)

Cheers,

Rob

You do this by using the output slider in the mapping tab for each sound. For example, set Kick to #2, Snare to #3 and Tom 1 to #4. All associated sounds (snare bounce, sidestick, the other toms etc.) will automatically follow the parent sound when you change that. You will now see the sounds split across the output returns in your host.

If you need more than 4 outputs then increase the outputs in the mapping tab and reload JS in your project (or manually add the missing returns in the host).
