If i set up a loop in sonar 5, eg loop bars 1 to 4, then sonar loops back to 1 but jamstix keeps on playing ie goes to bar 5 and then when sonar loops back to 1 again jamstix keeps going ie to bar 9 etc etc. So while sonar is looping round and round jamstix plays to the end of the arrangement. Is there a way to get jamstix to loop with sonar.

Unfortunately, Sonar does not reset the VST song position pointer when it loops so Jamstix (and any other VSTi) have no way of knowing Sonar is in a loop.

I recommend telling Cakewalk support about this. The more customers complain the more likely they are to fix this.

Considering I just ordered Sonar 5 yesterday, I guess they'll be hearing from me too.

It's not a showstopper or anything, but I do wish I would have read through the Jamstix/Sonar sticky thread before I decided to pick up Sonar. I guess I'll read it now to find out what I can look forward to.
