Reducing the tempo in FL Studio by more than a few beats disables JamStix - at least in the demo version. "Disabled!" displays in red over the logo. Is this just a demo restriction or possibly a problem with working with FL Studio?
BTW, there's a lot of buzz about Jamstix on the FL Studio looptalk forum recently. Great program. I can't wait for payday. |

I tried this here with FL6 but I cannot duplicate your problem. What FL version are you using and how to you change the tempo? (Mouse over tempo displya while running or not running etc.) _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Version 6.0.8. I'm mousing over the tempo box and reducing the tempo. It doesn't matter if the song is playing or not while doing this. I do have 31ms latency if that might be contributing to the problem. It only seems to happen with large tempo changes, and seemingly only when reducing tempo - say from 140 to 120.
I'll try to do some more detailed testing. |

OK, this is weird. I can't reproduce it now either. It did this every time over many days before. When it was doing it, I would reduce the tempo (slowly or quickly) down to around 120bpm and then it would disable itself. One time I thought I heard a quiet female voice say "jamstix" in the background just before it happened. Call me wacko - I've been called worse.
If I can reproduce it again, I'll look into it further. Thanks for all your time. If I get better data I'll send it your way. |

That sounds like an old demo version where we indeed had a female voice saying 'Jamstix' at regular intervals.
If you have any trouble with the full version, let me know. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
