snarepak - missing samples

Hi
after installing the Premier MC Maple samples from the freepak i then installed the snarepak over the top, expecting the installation to just overwrite the files with the new samples, but was left with just the reduced sample set from the freepak. I decided to delete the freepak samples and reinstall the snarepak as described in the jamstix manual but still no Premier MC Maple... well actually i do have the rimshot samples (in both mono and CS) but am missing the "snare", "snare bounce" and "snare sidestick" (if there are meant to be specific premier sidestick samples). Crying or Very sad

Also was wondering if there are meant to be sidestick samples for all the snares, as i am missing them for the popcorn, squealer, yamaha custom, and the kevlar? I have rimshots for the popcorn, squealer, deluxe maple, and the slingerland and am assuming that's all there was meant to be!

P.s. the samples i have sound great tho! Very Happy

You are absolutely correct! SnarePak has Premier samples missing! We will rectify this as soon as possible!

Not all snares have their own sidestick because many sound so similar and we wanted to preserve disk space. Same with rimshots, some snares don't have them because their timbre doesn't lend itself for it (deep or muffled snares).

We have created a ZIP that provides the missing samples. All SnarePak owners will be notified in the next few hours and given a link to download it.

The SnarePak download itself will be updated in the next 8 hours or so.

Glad to help! Shouldn't you get some sleep though? I'm from Australia and wasn't expecting to hear anything till tomorrow!

Figured as much about the timbral qualities of the snares and rimshots, but (probably like most jamstix users) i'm not much of a drummer so wasn't sure!

Thanks again for such great sounds (and great support) at such low low prices! The snarepak is amazing value, with or without the Premier!

Couldn't sleep so I checked the forum, glad I did!

Btw, main SnarePak download is now fixed. All SnarePak users should have gotten a mail with the fix by now as well.
