Hello,
Checking out Jamstix. Can I load drumloops either wave or rex into the rhythms folder to be used with the arranger functions?
Thanks |

No, Jamstix is a rule-based MIDI generator. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks, for the quick response Ralph. I use almost exclusively midi anyway.
I did read somewhere that I can import midi files into the rhythms folder is that correct? How do I change the extensions?
Also, can I import kits from Lin Plugs RMIV?
Thanks again you have a great product and very likely new customer!
I originally got wind of your product over at KVR along with the upcoming Jam Bass can you give me an idea of the interplay the two will have when combined!

You can use the 'Import' button in the rhythm tab to import patterns from drum MID files that are in GM layout. Since this is a MIDI->JS rule translation it will not be 100% but quite close.

Nope, Jamstix only uses its own format but you can subhost RMIV inside of Jamstix!

Those things are still being implemented but I can tell you two ways they interact:
a) If Jamstix plays a fill, Jam Bass can be instructed to either keep going, stop, do a stop/slide or invent a quick walk in synch with the kick/snare of the fill. All automatically.
b) Jam Bass can be set to align certain aspects of the lines it generates with the kick and snare of whatever Jamstix is playing in real-time _________________ Ralph Zeuner
