hi

If I scan all VSTi plugins in Podium, it freezes when it reaches jamstix.dll....have to cntrl-alt-del to close Podium.

I'm using the last beta before 1.5's release.

Any ideas ?

cheers

swayzak

PS I haven't restarted the PC since installing jamstix - not sure if this has anything to do with it

I stopped scanning all and started just bringing in the plugins needed on an arrangement when I had similar problem with Betabugs spinbug plug. With spinbug I was still able to bring the plug in manually.

If I have time, I'll give this a try tonight.

Out of 300 plugins (!), Podium froze with:

jamstix
M42
Waldorf Attack

So not unique to JS but it is one of the priviledged few !

Try adding this line to the [General] section of the jamstix.ini file:

LateWSLoad=1

I also always recommend a system restart.

Jamstix installed fine on an individual import. It was only half into the extra pack installation (I hadn't launched it following unzipping into addon folder)...Podium obviously didn't like this when it was doing a whole folder scan.

Yep, that explains it. I generally recommend to run Jamstix once in a simple host like MiniHost after installing add-on packs or even updates just to get everything set up.
