When using Jamstix with Cubase SX 3, if I drag Cubase's arrange window over Jamstix, while JS is playing, sometimes random intros are drawn in, in place of the normal measures. When I reset the intro (to normal) in JS, sometimes a measure 3-4 prior will turn into an intro bar, that has to be reset.
Anyone have anything similar happen?
Also I'm having a heck-of-a-time getting powerplay to engage. The Velocity is up over the tolorance, still no PP Weird:P |

I used it again....this time it didnt write in any weirdness...
I've also run into a little catch 22 using my Jamstix mappings with Halion Player.
In order to use ext MIDI feature, I have to hit the MIDI out lightin the mapping area. However, this seems to reset my mappings, and does not allow me to, say map a half-open Hi-Hat to F#1, defaulting to F#2. Even if I hit the MIDI out, and remap the HI-Hat to F#1 afterward, and audition it, Jamstix still triggers F#2.
While in MIDI out mode and you hit the "external VSTi", Jamstix will request a VSTi to load,...hit cancel...and now, all the proper mapped notes will MIDI out and audition correctly.
Thus the Catch-22....While the notes are actually mapped out correctly....and playing correctly....I can not save, or load a map due to an access violation error. |

I'm a bit confused on these mapping issues.
Please make sure 'Map GM input' is unchecked and see if that cures your audit problem. Also, are you using X8-15?
Could you send me a screenshot of the access violation? _________________ Ralph Zeuner
