jamstix does not seem to freeze in cubase SL, the truth is it never did, just recently while browsing the forum i noticed somebody saying how great it was to be able to freeze jamstix and his drum module/ effects and i'm like hey that never worked for me-- that would be a huge help if i could do that-- also, when i save an arrangement, if i load it again it is no longer locked, i guess this makes sense that it would be hard to do( because it's playing from the buffers or whatever when it's locked) , but maybe there's some way of saving locked bars and keeping them locked the way they were?

Freezing in many hosts requires you to add a dummy event to the start and end of the Jamstix MIDI track. This can be a single controller event or you could put an automation envelope etc.

Yes, saving an arrangement via the disc icon in the arranger does not save locks at this time.
