I am trying to get my volocity to work with the song.I start on the jam page of jamstix.I am in manual jam.I make sure all the mapping is loaded for the drum set in the mapping window.I then go into rhythen window and pick a patten i want(basic rock).I them go to the arrangement window and i leave the first four bars blank and on the fifth bar i put an intro.I then press play. The problem i have is that i have to lock the volocity at a high level,in order for me to hear the intro at the right levels.Thats ok for now,but what if i disside i want to back off(play lighter on guitar) in the song.I would want the drum to be able to move to side stick and lower in volocity as it is programed to do.The only way i can think of doing this so far it to do it manualy.I lock it in so i can hear my intro.I then unlock it for the remained of the song as it is still in play mode,so it follows my play the style volocity from hard to lighter. Is this how it is done?.PLease tell me if i am on the right track.I must say.I really am enjoying work with this Jamstix.I can make some good tunes with this program.I am just working around the learning curve

P.S Is there a way to setup your song in Jamstix so the when the song starts the drum tracks hit you vocals/guitar/bass any of the instruments, that the volocity would be at the right vocolity levels.

I hope i explained well enough to get help, but otherwise (great program) thank you Rayzoon

The easiest way for Jamstix to work in a song is to draw a velocity envelope in order for Jamstix to change its playing behaviour from light to heavy and everything in-between.
What host do you use?
