Hi!
Today I was making one song where I needed "electronic" drums. I loaded Dr-Fusion 2 in Jamstix and went ahead using it like before. But then I closed Cubase and opened the project again after a while. Now Jamstix was loading default samples. I don't know if this is really intended or not, but I found it unnecessary, since I'm using the external vsti anywa. So would it be possible to unload all the samples when you choose the external vsti option?
After I noticed this I changed all the hits in Jamstix to no sound (to do this I had to switch back ti internal sounds) and changed the sounds there, then I had to load the external vsti again and make the adjustments (fortunately I did save a preset of my settings). |

Go to the 'mappings' folder in the Jamstix directory and make a copy of the file 'Internal Silence.rdm', now delete' default.rdm' and rename the copy of 'Internal Silence.rdm' to 'default.rdm'. Jamstix will now refrain from loading samples by default. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Yeah, I made a silent patch default after I noticed what was happening. But thanks for the suggestion anyway. |
