The new drums sound excellent, so thanks - a great piece of software just got even better.

I have the file "DrumPak 1.rxp.txt" file in the AddOns folder, but when I hit "Load" I am in the mappings folder, but no "DrumPak #1" files are there.

Yep, some browser hang a .txt extension onto the name. Make sure the file says 'DrumPak 1.rxp'.

I had the same problem. Removing the .txt extension works.
Is there a problem to have this file zipped for download ?

Not a problem but the RXP file is already compressed so we thought it'd be good to skip an unnecessary step.

Are any of the audio demos just the raw samples with no ambiance? If not, could you post a sample like that? I'm curious how the drums sound without the added ambiance.

We've just posted another audio demo on the DrumPak #1 page that has almost no ambience:

And downloading right now Smile.

However after the update to the latest jamstix hi-hats don't play on 1,2,3 and 4 anymore. The downbeats are just silent. I just load any jamstix mapping and no hats any more on the downbeats, upbeats (eights do work) What do I do wrong?

Hi,

All is all right now. After a computer restart and cubase restart all is well now. Hats are playing on the beat again. Weird though. Have updated the sounds too now. Very nice although I'm spoiled by C&V.

Thanks for looking into it, but here all is ok now.
