It loads fine into Sonar, but in FL 5 the samples don't load. I'm pretty sure it's not an options issue.

Please make sure Logging=1 is specified in your jamstix.ini file and then repeat the load of Jamstix in FL5 (no other activity then that). After that, close FL5 and please send us the rzdlog.txt file from your Jamstix folder and set Logging=0.

Hello Ralph,

Checkin' out the demo X5-6. All the gain settings on output panel are defaulted to max gain. This can be a little rough on the speakers. Also, the gain setting changes are not remembered when saved and subsequently reloaded. Gains revert to max values. What this a conscious decision to always max out the gains?

Some of the new features seem very interesting. But I'll wait to check these out until I hear response about the gains. I believe setting and saving gains is a very important function.

Thanks

The gains should not max and they should save values. It works fine for us here. What host did you use and did you load a saved project or create a new one?

Hello Ralph,

I'm using Cubase. I loaded a previous project which used X5-2 and the gain settings were properly loaded. However, the max gain problem occurs on new projects using X5-6.

Thanks for help

Ralph, I didn't do as you requested becasue this problem magically went away. I don't believe I did anything on my end that would have caused a change. Just have to accept good fortune. Very Happy

Hello Ralph,

Am checkin' out the X5-7. The max gain issue I encountered in X5-6 is gone. The gain values load and save properly now. Great work! I can now check those other new features.

Thanks again...
