I've fussed with it a couple minutes: it seems the crashes have vanished. Thank you for the prompt fix, Ralph!

Yeah, one more thing though. I've noticed I can't use the mouse wheel to edit velocity and hihat openess with this beta. And selecting individual hits (by clicking on them) usually doesn't work. Many times I have to insist on clicking a specific hit to get it selected. Sometimes it gets deleted as a result.
I'm using the compact mode. Keep up the great work!

Acabreira: please check out the preview bar editing in this Beta.

I have just installed Beta 4 (been away when Beta 3 was released), and the preview editing works very well now, thanks a lot, Ralph!

About the auto-creation of a fill when manually editing, I think it's pretty close now. One thing that I noticed is that, once you manual edit an empty fill, as soon as you click ´groove´ or ´accent´ the fill is created. It's good for now, but for a matter of workflow small improvement, it could be automatically created and refreshed as soon as you input the first cell.

But JS3 is much better to work with for now with the new changes, Thanks again.

I had another crash with beta 4 and REAPER, this time pointing to ntldll.dll. I set JS3 offline to see if it happens in that project again. If not I'll bring it online and see if I can repro the crash.

Hooray, what a relief! Laughing This looks good in both REAPER and FLS now.

I haven't put it through any stress tests yet to see if the instability issues remain for me, but I should have some time today for that.

Thanks!

Hi Ralph-

If I'm previewing a bar and hit COMPOSE, the new hits aren't displayed until I stop looping and click somewhere in the bar editor (in REAPER, at least). It wasn't always that way, I don't think -- the new hits were displayed right after the bar was recomposed, IIRC.

Can we have the visual match what we're hearing?

Thanks-

-Susan

Susan, Beta 5 works fine for me concerning COMPOSE button in REAPER. Please check that you are really using Beta 5.

Hi there Ralph!
What Susan G has said is also happening to me. When I'm previewing a bar, after I hit compose for a new fill, there's no refresh of that bar; I can hear a new fill, but that's the old one I can see. Only when I stop and restart previewing the bar will get refreshed. I'm using the compact mode, if that matters. Thank you for the best of supports!

Yes, it's definitely Beta 5. I think Renan has the answer -- it only happens in Compact mode.

Thanks-

-Susan

Edit: Never mind, I see you found it. When I said it only happens in Compact mode I was checking a Groove, not a Fill bar.

And now we have Beta 9 out! We seem to have found the cause for ASIO overloads that some users were experiencing with the GUI open. If that is you, please let me know if Beta 9 fixes it.
