I wouldn't worry about the second install. When you are ready to uninstall the demo, use Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and afterwards you can manually delete the remaining Jamstix demo folder.

And have fun with BFD, it's awesome. You'll also be able to load BFD into the Jamstix demo and Jamstix will drive it.
