Definitely go for the JS drumpacks, to start at least.
I own DFH_S and DFH_C&V and find that i use the JS packs just as often as subbing in DFH.
I can't speak about BFD as i do not own, but i hear them compared to DFH_S quite often.
You will be extremely happy with your minor investment in the JS drumpacks and you can always add other libraries (if required) at a later date.
The savings will pay for a LOT of beer in the meantime
Whatever you decide, i am sure you will NOT be disappointed. |

BFD has a fully-fuctional demo with no time limit. It's ridiculously nice for a free demo.
I personally like the JS samples myself and have no intention on dropping $400 anytime soon. I would also like to know if there are going to be any new samples for JS2.

This was stated by Ralph before that there are not only new samples in JS 2 but a whole new kit.  |
