Hi guys, I'm using Cubase 4 on a 64 bit PC. For some reason jamstix can't be seen. I'm using version 3. Is there a specific 64 bit version? I've used it on my older, 32 bit system and it worked fine.
Thanks |

There is a 64 bit version of Jamstix. It should be available on your Jamstix download page. BUT, first.... Is your Cubase 4 a 64 bit application? If it is only a 32 bit application then you should still be using the 32 bit Jamstix. Honestly, I don't even know if C4 was available as 64 bit.

| Thanks jas_lan. Cubase 4 is 64 bit, so I'll try and download the appropriate Jamstix 3. |

Ok. Installed the 64 bit version of jamstix 3.5 but it still isn't being recognised by Cubase 4.
I have the .dll file in My Steinberg/Cubase4/VSTplugin folder. i've tried a few other folders too, but to no avail.

| Will do that Ralph. I managed to get jamstix recognised but now it's telling me the licence is not correct. |

and in my C/jamstix folder.

How do I send you the .txt file? I don't see any way to attach a file.

I re-installed jamstix 3.5 and put the licence file into C:jamstix.
Still no joy.
Jamstix opens but gives me a message saying there is a missing licence.

Once again Ralph you were right!
The licence file had a .txt extension that wasn't visible until I did what you said.
Now all is working fine and I can get back to making music with this brilliant piece of software.
Thanks again. |
