| I am using jamstix with dfhs. I am having a problem with the mappings. I load jamstix as a vst plugin inside jamstix. . What I do is I load in the dll for "drummer". Then I configure the vst instrument to a kit I like. I go to save it at the bottom of the page........save as VST and name the kit. I go back later and try to load the kit and it has the extension FXP. I try to load it but nothing happens. I am not sure the difference between the fxp file and the vst file??????? I would like to save my kits in jamstix and load directly without having to use dfhs as a seperate plugin...I really like the l/r snares and toms you get when you load dfhs inside of jamstix. |

???? Do you mean you're loading DFHS inside of Jamstix?

Exactly what 'Save' function are you using? The one in the DFHS GUI?
You should use the 'Save' function in the Jamstix mapping tab instead. It saves the DFHS data as well so there is no need to use DFHS save functions at all.
Hope this helps! _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Yes.......... that problem is fixed........ thank for the quick response. I will just save the dfhs kit with all the other rayzoon drum maps and import them from there. What would be the purpose of using the load and save in the sfhs gui in jamstix when I have the option to save and load that you suggest? |

Let's say one day you want to have Jamstix trigger DFHS outside of Jamstix. You would load the mapping in Jamstix and then save the DFHS kit in DFHS inside of Jamstix to a.dfh file. You can then load that dfh file into any instance of DFHS outside of Jamstix and have the same kit as inside. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
