I am still with JS3, but I recently goto IKM MODO Drum, so I'm tempted by JS4 upgrade to get the best with it.
should I expect a sale on the upgrade in the near holyday season? how it worked last years?

I would say probably yes since it has always happened since I started using JS in 2010. It is of course up to Ralph whether or not it happens.

Yes, we will have our usual holiday sale starting on Monday 29-NOV and the upgrade will drop to $29 during the sale.
