Hi, fisrt of all, sorry for the english, I´m from Brazil. I just bought Jamstix and let me tell you, what a great work! Beginning to work in some drum tracks right now with it, and preliminary results already sound much better than my previous efforts with the keyboard and painful editing (I´m not a drummer and thinking like one gives me headache )
I´ve been reading the manual and thought I understand how to copy and paste in the arrangement window, but there´s something I´m missing:
1) when JS makes a decision and I think such decision applies better to another measure, is it possible to copy and paste the resulting pattern to the any measure I want? I selected ´copy´, clicked on the part and then selected the desired measure, clicked on ´paste´, but it doesn´t seem to work. Maybe I misunderstood this functionality.
2) Any plans on raising the number of rhythms or using more than one instance per project? - 16 is great, but for more complex productions, more would be a dream.
Thank you very much! |

This should work. We'll take a look at this next week and let you know if there's a bug (and fix it of course).

Yes, we are planning to raise this substantially in Jamstix 2 next year. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Ok, thank you guys. I´ve been messing with automation yesterday and found this to be extremely powerful to change the way a rhythm behaves in middle of a measure also, the only thing I missed was a parameter to switch ´always ride´ on and off so I could activate rides in a certain beat without engaging power play, although with a ´power play´quick switch on and off it works almost perfectly. Is it possible to implement a parameter for always ride too?
Sorry for asking too much, I´m just too excited with my new drumming capabilities |

Please try these steps:
- select copy
- click on measure to copy and it should change color
- click on the bar number of the measure you want to paste to (depending on your host you may have to hit 'Stop' in Jamstix to change to the bar)
- now click 'Paste' and all data and decisions will transfer _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| It only works when I lock the bar I want to copy from, and then it pastes the destination bar locked too, but if I unlock the second bar, it looses the changes. Is this supposed to work like this? I tried to reset the bar to which copy also, but it didn´t work as well. |

It works fine for us with unlocked bars. Please save your Jamstix arrangement to a FXB file and send it to us. Also, specify which bar should be copied where. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
