I just posted a glowing review of Jamstix over at KVR if anybody is interested. Razz

Ralph, I just want to repeat a feature request I've made in the past. I am using Jamstix to create arrangements and exporting them to MIDI.

Since I program all my own patterns from scratch, I would like it if there was a button that would set the snare, tom, and cymbal sliders to zero with one click. I know it seems like a small thing. When I start a new pattern, I want to focus on telling Jamstix what I want it to do, not on what I don't want it to do.

If anybody else thinks this would be useful, please chime in. I know it isn't a huge priority.

I second that emotion. I'm a new Jamstix user and this is pretty much the way I use this wonderful tool.
That would definately save us some mouse work if we had a Global Set Drum Sliders to 0 button.

We'll put that in the next beta.

Thanks for adding this feature Ralph.

An enhancement on this for me would be the ability to reset all the accent sliders at once but NOT delete the actual rhythms - preferably without a confirmation dialog slowing things down (maybe a quick key command).

This would be great when composing - to add a new rhythm to an arragement jusy right click, select the rhythm, reset the accents (as described above) and test. If it fits into the composirion THEN start adding accents etc in.

What do you think?

Cheers
Jed

Once we get to the keyboard shortcuts, we'll try to add this one in.

Yep, we are also in negotiations with a major snack manufacturer for salted cracker sticks, called 'Jam Stix' Very Happy
