I saw there was a post from a few years back on this, however, now that we are on JS 3.6 is there an easy way to do get tambourine to go with the hats? Thanks.

I've not tried it myself, but I would look at the Motown styles.

Why not just assign the same midi note to the Tambourine and Hi-Hat in the kit you are using? You could even choose particular articulations of the Hi-Hat to duplicate. Or you could copy the Hi-Hat midi to another track and feed that to the Tambourine.

EDIT: Tried assigning the same note and that didn't work but copying the Hi-Hat midi and transposing it to the correct note for the Tambourine did work.
