Oh, I think you misunderstood me: Adjusting the thread priority worked, but the CPU spikes are still there.
I started a fresh project for teting purposes: 1st instance of Jamstix works fine (low cpu usage.
As as soon as I start a second instance, the CPU usage (accorind to Studio One's CPU meter) of the 1st instance runs crazily high, the second one is rather low with spikes every few seconds. |

I'll try to get 2 instances of Jamstix with REAPER tonight to see if it's host-related...
Will keep you informed. |

Small report.
I have quite a decent Win 8.1 I7 8-core PC with 16 GB of RAM and using Reaper I also got drops using 2 instances of JS.
I created a new project in Reaper, my latency was at 2.9ms using ASIO.
Added new virtual instrument JS in drum mode only using 8 tracks.
Added a second JS instance this time JamCussion-only and created 8 additional tracks.
While playing with nothing else (no other VST, no audio) my CPU at most hit 6% and memory used was under 3 GB. Stil,l I had sound drops.
I didn't had internet and didn't remember the suggestions from Ralph so I will try again with those tonight or tomorrow night.

Dali,
Try adjusting priority in task manager for 'jamstix.exe' to High. If that does not fix it, please send me rzdlog.txt from Documents\Jamstix3. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
