heyas Ralph,
Upgraded to JS3 and LOVE it. Got the Bonzo pack and it's the most awesome thing ever. EVER.

but

sometimes, and at this point it seems completely random, when I save my Reaper project I get a message that says(from memory here, please forgive me)

"save data not sent to host. Please save manually"

so after I get that, I have to acknowledge by clicking OK, which I do. Then reaper saves as if everything is OK..when I reopen the project, though, JS has reverted to its freshly installed state. There's no song loaded, no kit loaded, my pattern is gone, nothing.

It's quite the frustrating thing. I'm running 32 bit windows XP SP3, using a Line 6 UX2..nothing fancy about the rig at all, and first time seeing this issue after using JS2 for a couple of years now.

Right now it's in the "post crash" state, I haven't added any kits back in..is there maybe some log file I can send you? Any other info you need?

thanks man, awesome product.

Please don't save the REAPER project while REAPER is playing. Always stop REAPER before saving and this problem should not happen.

Hi all, very new here, just got the studio version in the sale!
When I use JS with separate 8 outs the GUI no longer displays in sync with the reaper host. It displays about 2 beats ahead of the play head but plays the sounds in sync with the host.
JS is ok if using mixdown to one stereo out - the sound is played at the same time as the display says beat 1,2,3 etc.

Anyone else had this problem? Is there a workaround?

Win xp sp3 32bit. 32bit reaper v4.32pre8 JS studio v3.5

Many thanks.
Paul.

Email sent. I'm thinking this is probably a reaper issue now though...will do some experimenting with the fx chain...
Thanks.

OK, I think I can confirm this is a reaper issue... JS GUI OK with current full release of reaper V4.31, but (song position pointer?) broken in reaper pre-releases if a JS output path has any FX enabled on it.
I've opened a thread at Cockos with more diagnostic info.. http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=115839.
Keys.

If Jamstix is stay-on-top, unpin it and see if there is a REAPER dialog behind it.

Otherwise, send me rzdlog.txt from Documents\jamstix3.
