I use save style preset in the brain menu and give it a name..I click wizard..select import where the instructions say I will see my saved preset..and it's not there !! so what am I doing wrong please ?, I can not follow the instructions anymore precisely. 2 of my friends have also tried and end up in the same place, I know it's something daft but what ?

Here is what I'd do:
- load 'Import' style into any old part
- select desired MIDI groove file
- click 'Save Style Preset' and save preset
- open song builder
- select 'Import' style and saved preset should be listed

| Hello Ralph, thank you for replying...I've been doing what you have just said and when I open song builder ( by clicking on wizard ) I have then selected "import " again and been going round in circles..now I have just realized that I need to select "default" which is to the right of "import"...may I suggest that the instructions should say..."then select your saved midi file by clicking on default which is to the right of import in the song builder page" this would have saved me a few days of head scratching..I had no reason to click on default because the instructions never told me to do that..( you must forgive me for blindly following the instructions ) anyway, now I've got this far but when I try to play the song JS does not play anything...I can see the midi file is there and the drums are set up and will play if I click on them and I have checked the midi file is ok in EZ drummer, in the song page my selected midi file is there in the style letterbox and in the groove box below it says midi clip and under that is the name of the midi clip...JS plays the intro but when it changes to the midi clip it stops playing, I am looking forward to using JS and apologize for my lack of knowledge..Kevin |
