I set up JS for midi jam in reaper 4. It sort of works, but not quite.

Any time I can see the MIDI IN light flashing in JS, I get little timing stutters during playback.

If I mute the sends so that JS doesn't receive MIDI, the timing is solid.

Has anyone else encountered this?

Thanks!

Hi Ralph,

Thanks for looking at the log. As I mentioned in my email, the project tempo is 140 BPM. I tried the beta DLL, the behavior is the same. BUT ...

It only happens when the JS UI is open. It doesn't happen in audio jam, normal jam, or module mode.

Thanks,

lwa

Are you sending lots of MIDI controller data to JS in the MIDI track?

Very little.

I've learned that it's specific to that song. I have another song that sends lots of data to JS, without any problems.

Would it help if I sent you the Reaper project?
