Hi to all.........

I've been painstakingly trying to mimic the drum parts for a commercial song as a means of learning how to control Jamstix. Things were slowly falling together today and I had played the song through several times with no problems. The doorbell rang - thought it might be some top man from a record company with a contract - turned out to be something about a missing cat -javascript:emoticon(' Sad

') and by the time I came back and re-started the song, I found the Kick drum on the 1st beat of 2 bars decided to stop sounding (bars 6 and 11 of the 108 bar song).javascript:emoticon(' Mad

I cleared the bars and copied and pasted from 'good' bars. No luck.
I cleared the bars and manually re-composed. No luck.
I cleared the hit and put a Snare/tom/anything in its place. No luck.

So besides a missing cat - I've suddenly got a missing 1st beat on 2 random bars in my song. I've scoured the forums first before posting a new thread, but can't see anything relevant.

I'm in JS 3.1.2 in Sonar 8.5 Producer in Vista.

Any pointers appreciated..................... oh. and by the way....if you've seen a missing cat.............

It seems I've managed to get rid of my gremlin.

Today, I thought to save a 'good' bar containing identical hits, cleared the 'bad' bars and loaded the 'good' in their place. I've played through a few times now and the kick on the 1st beat is back.

The copying and pasting exercise would not do it. Weird.

Of course, it would still be nice to know what might have caused this anomoly in the first place.............?
